Magnificent Nembro Yellow marble Baptismal Font, with twisted column and finely worked basin. From Venice, private collection, 19th century period. Of high workmanship and quality, optimal as a piece of furniture for both indoor and outdoor use. It consists of two separate modules: a tub plus a tortile column. The tub is fixed thanks to a pin at the top of the pedestal that allows it to be well positioned and stable. Lot more unique than rare. Pretty marble veining, as well as the decorations on the tub and the twisted shape of the column. Very rare and exclusive item. Spectacular luster and color of the marble. The lot is in very good overall condition. If shipped, it will be shipped with wooden crate so as to ensure its complete integrity.
